Both Nikon D600 and Nikon D610 have Full frame sized 24.0 MP resolution sensors so sensor size and resolution is not a differentiator between these two cameras. Nikon D600 and Nikon D610 have sensor sizes so they will provide same level of control over the depth of field when used with same focal length and aperture. In fact, if you go through the Menus and Custom Settings of the D610 / D600, you will find that a “Top 25 Tips and Tricks” post could easily be put together from just these options alone.
